“Novalia” means new land.
Historically, the term was used to describe land that had never been cultivated, and this land was sometimes taken on by monks who would work it, develop it, and make it fruitful. It wasn’t easy ground. It required vision, discipline, and faith to see what it could become.
That is a picture of what we do.
We work with people who are often in places that feel economically or spiritually undeveloped, and we help them create new opportunities and new life.
God still leads people into “new land.”
And with the right tools, that land can become fruitful for their families, their communities, and the Gospel.
Novalia Group was founded by Jason and Kameron, a husband-and-wife team with a shared calling. Married since 1998, they are parents to 5 children, including 3 through adoption.
While living in Indonesia, they noticed a pattern of micro or small businesses opening, then shutting down just a few months later. The issue wasn’t effort. People were working hard. What was missing was basic business training.
During this time they were also asked to help train community and ministry leaders in business to help their work become sustainable.
That assignment eventually turned into something much larger.
With input and partnership from organizations like MissioNexus, ONOW, and others, they developed training and curriculum designed not just to start businesses, but to transform communities and disciple others through business.
Business can be a powerful tool for the Kingdom. Not just to generate income, but to grow and strengthen the Church, and bring lasting change in communities.
Today, these practical and reproducible tools are being used globally by NGOs, churches, ministries and local leaders, especially in places where access to opportunity is most limited.
Novalia Group is supported by a network of trainers, facilitators, and partners around the world who are using these tools within their own communities and ministries.
